Bhima Devi Temple Site Museum, Pinjore
The highly abraded sculpture shows a deity who must have had four arms, for remnants of one arm is visible at the right and remnants of two arms are visible at the left elbow. The upper torso is bare save for a necklace and the sacred thread (yajñapavita). The double sacred thread with sprays at the jewelled clasp falls almost vertically over the left shoulder and thigh. Remnants of a large garland (vanamàlà) wind around the arms just below the armlets. The neck has conventional triple folds, and the dignified look. Lower right-hand rests on a smaller figurine as visible from some depiction. The regularly pleated lower garment is secured by a simple girdle, the two looped ends of which fall over the thighs. The deity is shown standing between a pillared niche.
