Surya Narayana, the fusion of the solar deity Surya and Narayana (a form of Vishnu), is often depicted with human-like features, including four arms holding symbolic objects. This union symbolizes the cosmic significance of the Sun as a divine manifestation. A common portrayal shows Surya Narayana holding two lotus blossoms, symbolizing purity, enlightenment, and celestial beauty. These flowers may also represent his association with Lakshmi, embodying abundance and auspiciousness. Additionally, Surya Narayana may carry symbols linked to Lord Vishnu, like the Sudarshana Chakra and Kaumudki. Adorned in celestial attire, yagyopavita and a divine crown called a "Kiritamukuta," he exudes regal majesty. Celestial beings such as Gandharvas and Apsaras often accompany him as attendants, enhancing the sacred ambiance. These celestial entities, residing in the heavens, contribute to the divine aura surrounding Surya Narayana.
