Mahavir

Description

This sculpture represents Mahavir, a revered Jain Tirthankara. He is seated on a lotus pedestal, adopting the padmasana posture while performing the dhyana mudra. Regrettably, the sculpture exhibits damage, with portions of his thigh and wrist missing. Additionally, two attendants are depicted standing at either corner, although only their lower halves are visible.
