Description

This structural fragment of a lintel has beautiful depictions of lord Ganesha in a niche, holding icons in hands. The horizontal bands adjacent to Ganesha sculpture depict two friezes of human figurines in different postures. The abraded portions of depicted figurines make it difficult to make out the activity they seem to perform. May be this is the depiction of Sapta matrikas. The topmost portion of the fragment depicts floral pattern, might be showing lotus petals.
