Bhima Devi Temple Site Museum, Pinjore
According to the Linga Purana, Lakulisha (1" century CE) Saivite saint, is considered as Siva's incarnation. Here he is standing in tribhanga mudra. The sculpture is in abraded (broken) condition from right side thus features are not clear. Here deity is four handed. On left side of main figurine, is a panel depicting a female in lower part of frieze, and a vyal is depicted above it in continuation. Some of the images depict Lakulisha as a yogi and he carries prayer beads, a club and a cup of human skull. In some depictions, Lakulisha is shown as accompanied by animals.
