Bhima Devi Temple Site Museum, Pinjore
This sculpture is broken, thus only upper half (bust area) is visible that shows features of Hari Hara, which is a combination of Vishnu and Shiva. The iconography of presence of trident in right hand (broken) and chakra in left hand, evident the same. An elaborate crown, with combination of Jata (hairlocks) and exquisite jewellery is visible in the sculpture. This syncretic icon also signifies the fusion of the two major cults of Vaishnavism and Shaivism. This combination symbolises the ultimate unity of time and space, Shiva representing time and Vishnu representing space.
